Sunday services

When our church is able to open, St. Andrews church has its main service at the church each Sunday morning, at 11am. It includes worship, prayers, and a sermon. Sometimes we have a guest preacher. You are very welcome to join us at the church - or you can watch the service online, using Facebook Live - either at the same time as the service, or afterwards.

During Lockdowns, we continue to hold our 11am Sunday morning service online using Zoom, and details of how to join it (by video link from your PC or tablet, or by audio link from a telephone) are available from our Vicar, Rev. Christopher Hobbs (0161 291 9134).

Our evening service, at 7pm each Sunday, is not at the church. We conduct it from our homes, using Zoom. You can join in our Zoom services by video link from your PC or tablet, or by audio link from a telephone. Please contact our Vicar, Rev. Christopher Hobbs (0161 291 9134), for instructions.

We also have a selection of pre-recorded services on our YouTube channel. You can watch those services at any time.

  • St Andrews YouTube - a selection of services and other programs produced by our church are available on our YouTube channel. Our latest service usually becomes available on YouTube on Sunday mornings during Lockdown, and when we are able to open our church, from Sunday afternoon onwards.

  • Emmanuel YouTube - a selection of services from our other church in the Parish, Emmuanuel, are available on the Emmanuel YouTube channel. also from Sunday afternoon onwards; it is broadcast live on their Facebook page.
