Amblers

people on a country walkSt Andrew's Amblers
A friendly informal group for those who enjoy country walking and a good opportunity for Church members to meet with one another and with friends. It's an easy way to get to know people if you are new to the Church.

Walks are usually in Cheshire or the Peak District, with occasional trips slightly further afield, but usually no more than 45 minutes to an hour away from Cheadle Hulme.

There is a varied programme of activities with walks normally between 4 and 6.5 miles, but nothing too strenuous. Come prepared with footwear and clothing suitable for the British countryside, which normally means hiking boots and warm / waterproof clothing all year round, but could also mean sunscreen in the summer months. We always have a refreshment break so come with something to drink and eat. Often there is an optional meal together at the end.

For 2017, walks are on the 2nd Saturday of every month (except January and December). Details appear in Newsline for 2 weeks before each walk. We look forward to sharing some wonderful days outdoors, marvelling at God's creation and enjoying your company.
